How do I see the Growth Mindset, Failing Forward strategies, and the COVA Model impacting my learning as I continue in the program?
As I continue this Master's Program in Digital Learning and Leading, I see the Growth Mindset, Failing Forward Strategies, and the COVA Model as meaningful in impacting my learning. The Growth Mindset is absolutely necessary when going into the unknown and digital future. I have had to change my mindset to truly embrace this program. Failing Forward has impacted me personally and definitely with digital learning in this program. With digital learning, everything is a challenge and innovative. I need to be courageous and 'dive in' without fear of failing. When I fail, my progress of 'getting back up' defines me so much more! The COVA Model, Choice, Ownership, Voice through Authentic Learning has transformed my classroom and my approach to this Master's Program. I have always had trouble expressing myself through term papers. I love the creativity piece that I can create digital products that I connect well with. When presented with the COVA Model in creating my assignments, I rose to the occasion and created assignments that were much more challenging than an essay but I had fun and learned much more. I'm excited to see what other digital learning tools will come next!
